Staff Nurse/Nurse Associate - Ward C1

Job overview

you will demonstrate a passion for improving the patient and relative experience for those patients who have to deal with the diagnosis and treatments of these potential life limiting illnesses. You will be expected to undertake any mandatory training to enhance pre-existing knowledge and ensure research based practice. In addition to this, you will possess well developed communication skills that will be used to engage, inspire and motivate both staff and patients in this exciting and challenging clinical area. Good time management skills are essential, as is the ability to prioritise your workload and in return we will enable you to develop your clinical and leadership skills with the support from the Senior Nursing team on Ward C1, the MFOP/Stroke Directorate and within the Medical and Emergency Care Division

• Ensuring improvements in patient outcomes and the safety, effectiveness and experience of their care
• Ensuring best practice in infection control
• Treating patients with dignity and respect
• Assist the senior nursing team in ensuring all quality improvement work is implemented and sustained.
• Ensure safe and effective discharge planning
