Job overview

The Stroke Unit at Princess Royal University Hospital is one of eight large Hyper Acute Stroke Centres within the Pan-London Stroke Network. It provides emergency stroke services to a diverse local community, as well as expert clinical care for both local and regional stroke patients. The service is continually expanding and evolving, offering new and exciting career opportunities.

Services provided include the TIA Clinic, Hyper Acute Stroke Care, and Acute Stroke Rehabilitation. This is a strong clinical specialty, supported by a dedicated nursing and clinical team committed to high standards of care and a supportive working environment—making it a compelling career choice for ambitious nurses.

The team also maintains a strong multidisciplinary focus, and the successful candidate will need to work collaboratively across professions, closely linking with the wider team to achieve the best possible outcomes for our patient group.

The post holder must be a Registered Nurse (RN1) and is therefore expected to adhere to the NMC Code of Professional Conduct for Nurses, Midwives and Health Visitors.
