Job overview

Join an exciting and evolving team, with chances to develop and learn respiratory specific clinical skills. You will have the support of experienced and supportive nurses, clinical nurse specialists, and a friendly and approachable respiratory medical team. Moreton has recently had a transformation of its leadership team and is prioritising the education and training of staff while ensuring that high quality patient centered care is at the heart of what we do.

We are a 26 bedded ward that provide respiratory medical care to patients from across the county. This can be direct admissions from ED, transfers from other ward areas, along with caring for step down critical care patients. You will have the opportunity to develop your clinical skills and become competent at caring for patients with chest drains, nasal high flow and NIV (non-invasive ventilation). You will be involved in all aspects of patient care from admission though to discharge and your input and clinical judgement will be valued in the planning of care and treatment for our patients.

We welcome you to visit the ward and get to know the team. If you are ready to develop your skills in an acute area with a supportive team, then Moreton would love to hear from you.
