HSE Dublin and South East Region/ Réigiún Bhaile Átha Cliath agus an Oirdheiscirt de chuid an HSE There is currently one permanent whole-time vacancy available in Glencree Unit, Newcastle Hospital, Greystones Co Wicklow/ Aonad Glencree, Ospidéal Newcastle, Na Clocha Liatha, Co. Chill Mhantáin. A panel may be formed as a result of this campaign for Staff Nurse, Mental Health from which current and future, permanent and specified purpose vacancies of full or part-time duration may be filled for Dublin and South East Region. All applicants will be given the opportunity, at the time of application, to indicate an IHA preference area.

• HSE Dublin South and Wicklow Candidates successful at interview will be placed on the regional panel in order of merit. Where vacancies arise, posts will be expressed to the panel as follows: 1. IHA Preference Area Vacancies will initially be expressed to candidates who have selected the IHA preference area in which the vacancy arises, in order of merit. 2. Regional Panel Where a vacancy remains unfilled, an expression of interest will then be issued to the full regional panel, in order of merit, regardless of IHA preference. All suitably qualified Nurses are invited to apply for positions. We are very interested to receive applications from all Undergraduates/Graduates who are due to qualify no later than the 31st December 2026 who are interested in working as a Staff Nurse Mental Health within the HSE. Undergraduates successful at interview will be made dormant on the panel until they provide evidence that they have registered with NMBI. This means that undergraduates cannot be offered jobs until they are qualified

Adult / Older Adult / Psychiatry of Later Life Services / Intellectual Disability (with Mental Health diagnosis) Demonstrate professional knowledge and experience across a wide range of disorders and dysfunctions and the management and care of these across a number of settings including but not limited to: ➢ Inpatients ➢ Continuing Care ➢ Rehabilitation ➢ Managing Complex Behaviours ➢ Security & Risk ➢ Self Harm
