A unique opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and experienced Head and Neck Nurse to work within our department service at LNWH NHS Trust.
The role offers the rare opportunity for staff to work both within the hospital setting. You will be supported by an experienced team including Team Leaders, Clinical Nurse Manager and Matron. The variety of settings offers different learning opportunities as well as a chance to develop management skills.

Communicate effectively and work in partnership with patients. Their relative/carers, nurse colleagues and members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure care is delivered in an accurate and efficient manner.
To have good communication skills in verbal, formal documentation and electronic (IT) sources and with all members of the nursing, multidisciplinary team, patients and families.
Working in partnership with the patients and family another healthcare professionals in care/discharge planning
Involve patients and carers/family in their care to ensure accurate information and establish good communication.
Identify, discuss and report any relevant nursing/patient needs with the teams/ward staff and patients.
Receives sensitive information regarding patients medical condition at handover between staff.
Recognize the legal implications of nursing documentation therefore maintaining accurate records.
Accept responsibilities; be aware and able to locate all policies relation to good work practice within the clinical area and enable to adhere to both by self and colleagues.
Maintain accurate and legible records of patient care in line with Trust Policies and NMC Code of Conduct.
Adhere to the NMC Code of Conduct and Trust Policies pertaining to patient confidentiality/the Data Protection Act/Caldicott Recommendations.
