Job overview

An exciting opportunity for full time (37.5 hours per week) Band 5 NHS staff nurses is now available at Cambridge Dialysis Centre, working for Addenbrookes Trust, at an off-site Dialysis unit in Fen Ditton Cambridge.

The unit is a large satellite dialysis unit serving the Cambridgeshire and surrounding area caring for Chronic Haemodialysis dependent patients. This unit consists of 36 dialysis stations, dialysing patients Monday through Saturday from 07.00 hours until 23.30 hours. The committed nurses at this unit also provide staffing to the acute 6 bedded unit on ward C5 at the main hospital, including an on-call service from 02.00hrs through until 07.30 hours and Sundays all day.

You will need to be a good team member with evidence of good communication and organisational skills. Recent experience of caring for haemodialysis patients in the chronic or acute care setting is beneficial but not essential as this role is an opportunity for both existing nurses wanting to extend their work portfolios and for newly qualified nurses looking to start their career.

If you think you are the right candidate to work within this unit alongside the existing team of caring, flexible, dedicated nurses please apply. You must be flexible and able to work a full range off shifts including taking part in the on-call roster.
