We are looking to appoint a Registered Nurse with post registration nursing experience – current A&E nursing experience would be desirable but is not essential. You will participate in the treatment of patients in A&E, where we will strive to give patients an excellent standard of care in an extremely busy environment that is both challenging and rewarding. You will learn many new skills and enable patients to have the best possible standard of care.

You will have good communication skills and be willing to undertake extended role developments and mentor preparation. In your application you should demonstrate evidence of self-directed learning for development of clinical skills. There is a commitment to do rotational night duty.

As from 01/04/2026, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part time hours will be reduced pro-rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.

For an informal discussion, please contact Aimee Sutherland, Senior Charge Nurse on 01595 743000 Ext 3116

Closing date: 22nd March 2026

Interview date: WB 6th April 2026
