At North West Ambulance Service, our people are there for others at their most vulnerable. This role is about being there for them. We are looking for a wellbeing professional who believes that staff experience matters, that healthy cultures do not happen by accident, and that meaningful support can shape how people feel, grow and thrive at work.
This is a rare opportunity to influence wellbeing across a large, diverse and operationally demanding NHS organisation. You will lead the development and delivery of evidence-based wellbeing initiatives, training, resources and interventions that support colleagues and managers alike. Working closely with the Staff Experience Advisor (Engagement Specialist), HR colleagues and operational leaders, you will use staff feedback, insight and data to shape priorities, strengthen manager capability and ensure our wellbeing offer continues to respond to the changing needs of our workforce.
We are looking for someone with credibility, strategic awareness and the confidence to turn ideas into action. You will need to build strong relationships, work across professional boundaries and influence at all levels, while keeping equality, inclusion and continuous improvement at the centre of your approach. This is a role for someone who understands both people and systems and wants to use that knowledge to create lasting change.
For the right person, this is more than a job. It is an opportunity to improve the working lives of the people behind one of the NHS’s most vital services. If you are driven by purpose, care deeply about wellbeing and want to help shape a more supportive, inclusive and compassionate experience for those who dedicate their lives to helping others, this could be the role for you.
