Job summary

Main duties of the job

• To be a part of the multi-disciplinary team, to work alongside the highly specialist team of speech and language therapists assessing children referred to the Child Development Centre
• To provide therapy support /intervention for children with complex and severe learning difficulties with additional diagnoses e.g. Autism Spectrum Disorder in the CDC and community settings.
• To develop and deliver the provision of an enhanced speech and language therapy service for children under the care of the Child Development Centre
• To work in partnership with other members of the CDC team and partners such as Early Years inclusion outreach, Portage, Sencos and Family Support Workers.
