Specialty Doctor in Stroke

We are looking to recruit to a Specialty Doctor post in Stroke Medicine, with 1 Supporting Programmed Activity per week to focus on your own development. As a Trust we have a proven track record in supporting doctors to complete their CESR and then go on to take a Consultant post with the Trust, so this could be your ideal next step.

This is a permanent appointment, based predominantly at the Lister Hospital in Stevenage. The post comprises 10 programmed activities (PAs), which could be modified for a candidate preferring to work 10 PAs or less than full time.

This is an excellent opportunity within the Stroke department at East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust, based at the Lister Hospital in Stevenage, which enjoys a unique geographical location close to London and Cambridge. • Maintenance of high-quality patient centered care
• Shared responsibility for the day-to-day management of the service
• Teaching and training within the multidisciplinary service
• Active involvement in multidisciplinary team meetings and directorate clinical governance activity
• Active participation in continuing medical education.
