Specialty Doctor in Ophthalmology

Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a specialty doctor in Ophthalmology.

We are delighted to offer 3 x 12 month Fixed Term specialty doctor post to join a team of current 9 Ophthalmology consultants working both at King’s Mill Hospital and Newark Hospital.  This is a busy, dynamic department treating a variety of ophthalmological conditions but the post is for a specialty doctor in ophthalmology.   This post is to complement our existing ophthalmologist and specialty doctor team working within the ophthalmology directorate.  The post-holder will undertake on call commitment of approximately a 1 in 8 rota.

These duties may be subject to review to reflect the changing requirements of the service. If changes to the described duties are required these will be mutually agreed between the appointee(s), their colleagues and the Trust.
