An exciting opportunity to join our expanding team within the department of Sedation and Special Care Dentistry at Guys Hospital.

Applications are invited for a part-time Specialty Dentist post. This is a fixed term contract for maternity cover.

We invite applications for dentists developing their experience and considering future specialty training in special care dentistry.

The appointee will deliver a comprehensive sedation and special care dentistry service for adult patients. Applicants must have full GDC registration and experience in providing special care dentistry for adult patients under a range of conscious sedation techniques.

The successful applicant will be expected to develop the department’s clinical services and take an active role in undergraduate and postgraduate training.

As an organisation we are committed to developing our services in ways that best suit the needs of our patients. This means that some staff groups will increasingly be asked to work a more flexible shift pattern so that we can offer services in the evenings or at weekends.

Interested candidates are advised to contact Yvonne Rooney, Consultant for Sedation and Special Care dentistry service at [email protected] to discuss the role.
