The post holder will be expected to show drive and initiative towards patient care, putting the patient first. They should have an interest in the specialty of Paediatric Dentistry and should ideally have some experience in the management of children in a hospital setting. They will be part of a team providing dental treatment under general anaesthesia, so previous experience in an operating theatre environment will be desirable. As an organisation we are committed to developing our services in ways that best suit the needs of our patients. This means that some staff groups will increasingly be asked to work a more flexible shift pattern so that we can offer services in the evenings or at weekends.
