Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time permanent Physiotherapist with an interest in neuro-rehabilitation. We are looking to recruit a B6 Specialist Physiotherapist for our Neurological Rehabilitation Unit at Trafford General Hospital.

You will be part of a dynamic, well-established multidisciplinary team, working alongside a Clinical Lead, experienced Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Psychologists and Rehabilitation Assistants. Our team is committed to delivering a holistic approach to patient care, ensuring high-quality outcomes in line with national guidelines.

This Band 6 role offers the chance to contribute to service development, quality improvement initiatives, and the education of students and junior staff, while continuing your own professional development.

Main duties of the job

Provide specialist assessment and rehabilitation of neuro-rehab patients at Trafford General Hospital.

Supervise and support junior and unregistered staff, ensuring high standards of care.

Act as a clinical mentor for undergraduate physiotherapy students.

Lead and participate in service development projects, including audits and quality improvement programs.
