We have an opportunity available within Aberdeenshire Kincardine & Mearns cluster covering GP practices & Community Hospital in Inverbervie, Laurencekirk, Portlethen & Stonehaven

Part Time (3 days, 21.6h/week) Monday – Friday

We have an exciting opportunity for a registered pharmacist to join the Pharmacotherapy teams working across Aberdeenshire. The post holder will join a team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians and be key to the ongoing provision of the pharmacotherapy service and promoting quality, cost-effective prescribing of medicines.

The post holder will support GP practices and community hospitals, covering all aspects of medicines management in line with local and national guidelines.

You may have a community or hospital pharmacy background. Good communication, interpersonal and time management skills are essential. Experience of working within Primary Care, medicines management and audit would be an advantage.

Independent Prescriber qualification would be an advantage.

The post will include onsite working in GP Practices and / or remote working from an agreed base within the HSCP cluster area – options can be discussed with one of the Lead Pharmacists and we encourage this ahead of applying. A full driving licence essential.
