We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Band 6 Physiotherapist to join our community Children's Physiotherapy team based at Green Wrythe Lane Clinic, Carshalton.
This role is 3 days (22.5 hours) per week working with children age 0-19 years with a variety of conditions including musculoskeletal injuries, neurological conditions, developmental delay and genetic conditions. The successful applicant would be working in variety of settings; including clinic, homes, schools and children's centres.
Main duties of the job
- To work autonomously providing specialist Physiotherapy assessment, advice and treatment to children with a wide variety of conditions including Musculoskeletal, neurological, developmental delay and complex needs.
- To travel to and work in a variety of settings including clinic, patients homes, nurseries/ schools and children centres.
- To work closely with the multidisciplinary team, families, school staff and the wider health team to plan and provide assessment and treatment.
- To actively contribute to clinical audits and develop of the Physiotherapy Service, facilitating improving client/care pathways and outcomes for children in conjunction with professional lead and team leader.
- To carry out continual professional development as identified through clinical supervision and PDR, including in-service training and courses as agreed.
- To provide training and clinical supervision to more junior team members in conjunction with Clinical Lead/ Team Leader.
