NHS Scotland is committed to encouraging equality and diversity among our workforce and eliminating unlawful discrimination. The aim is for our workforce to be truly representative and for each employee to feel respected and able to give their best. To this end, NHS Scotland welcomes applications from all sections of society.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Occupational Therapist to join NHS Tayside as a Rotational Band 6 OT. This rotation spans multiple clinical areas, including Medicine for the Elderly, Surgical and Vascular services, Acute Medical, Orthopaedics, neurosciences, Neuro/Stroke Rehab and Hand Therapy.

Based within Ninewells Hospital and Royal Victoria Hospital, you will manage a complex clinical caseload, delivering specialist assessment, intervention, and discharge planning. You will also contribute to shaping service delivery, developing new models of care, and strengthening collaboration across acute, rehabilitation, and community pathways. The post offers opportunities to explore outreach models that support patient-centred and responsive care.

You will bring strong communication skills, excellent prioritisation and time management abilities, and demonstrate initiative and leadership. Supporting junior members of the team will be an important part of your role. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Band 5 Occupational Therapist or a current Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join highly motivated and supportive leadership teams across Ninewells Hospital and Royal Victoria Hospital, offering rich opportunities for professional growth, collaboration, and service development.
