This is an exciting time to join adult mental health services in Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board as we work together to deliver the Welsh Government’s new Mental Health Strategy, which places recovery and person-centred care at the heart of service delivery.
As an Occupational Therapist in our Community Mental Health Teams, you will be part of a strong and supportive network of OTs working in community roles across adult mental health services. You will have opportunities to develop your own professional self-management skills, delivering occupation-focused interventions using the Model of Human Occupation (MOHO) to underpin your practice.
The post offers scope to develop leadership skills through supervising support staff and delegating tasks, while working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
This is an exciting opportunity for OT practitioners with a passion for working in mental health services to develop their career pathway in the mental health workforce.
