We are seeking a dedicated Specialist Occupational Therapist to join our team at Amber Lodge. This is an exciting opportunity to provide a high standard of care and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young people.

Main duties of the job

Reporting into the Advanced Occupational Therapists and Team Leader some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide high-quality occupational therapy care as part of a multi-professional team.
  • Carry out routine assessments for children and young people with diverse conditions in school and home settings.
  • Diagnose occupational therapy-related problems and needs.
  • Develop and deliver individualised treatment programmes.
  • Manage a delegated caseload within the special schools team under supervision.
  • Undertake clinical duties as a developing autonomous practitioner, seeking guidance and support from senior colleagues when required.
