This is an exciting opportunity to join the Stroke and Neurology Occupational Therapy service at Treliske Hospital, in a new role supporting our Therapy Team on Tintagel ward, which specialises in the care of Neurology, Eldercare and Medical patients. You will work alongside our Neurology OT and OT Technician, together with the MDT, to deliver rehabilitation and discharge planning for this co-hort of patients.

Main duties of the job

  • To provide a high standard of Occupational Therapy to patients admitted to Tintagel ward. To provide Specialist assessment, treatment and goal setting with these patients. Some patients may have complex and or chronic presentations. To determine clinical diagnosis and Occupational Therapy treatment indicated. To maintain records as an autonomous practitioner. To develop highly specialist skills under the guidance of the Senior staff. To attend clinical level discussions/meetings related to your area of work as delegated by the Clinical team Lead.
