Main duties of the job

The Specialist Dietitian will support the Lead Dietitians in the development, implementation, delivery and evaluation of best practice in relation to the Level 2 Service across the Health Board, working as an integral member of, and in partnership with multi-agency community teams. The Service comprises Team Leads and Specialist  Dietitians, alongside  Dietetic Assistants and admin support, working across the Health Board to provide group weight management programmes for adults in leisure centres or remotely via videoconference. The team also provides one-to-one weight management clinics.

You will also remain a key member of the dietetic team, joining an enthusiastic and friendly team of dietitians delivering services in acute and primary care, and public health. We deliver clinical placements for students, and have secretarial and assistant support.
