Job summary

Main duties of the job

  • To provide a consistent, effective, accessible and appropriate Children's Public Health Nursing Service for children, young people and their families
  • To work in partnership with agencies and families
  • To signpost to partner agencies where assessed as required
  • To lead the delivery of public health and universal and targeted interventions across the 0-19 age range for a defined population and will be delivered in line with the National and Local guidelines and public health priorities.
  • The team will work proactively using a partnership approach to promote health and contribute to tackling health inequalities within the level of competencies required for the post.
  • You will work with children, young people and families within the home environment, school or other identified community setting.
