The Pharmacy Department at East Kent Hospital University NHS Foundation Trust are seeking highly motivated pharmacists to join our growing team of specialist clinical rotational pharmacists.

There is 1 position at a band 6 to band 7 progression post as part of our structured rotational programme where you will gain experience across our 3 largest hospital sites – The Kent and Canterbury Hospital, the Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother Hospital, Margate and the William Harvey Hospital, Ashford. Candidates currently at Band 6 wishing to develop their skills will also be considered for a developmental role.

Main duties of the job

We have a structured rotational programme where you will gain experience across our 3 largest hospital sites – The Kent and Canterbury Hospital, the Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother Hospital, Margate and the William Harvey Hospital, Ashford.   For more detailed information about our rotational programme please see our specialist clinical pharmacist handbook that is attached to this job advert.

The programme is designed to support and develop pharmacists from Foundation to Advanced level to ensure you are perfectly placed to move forward in your career. Rotations  are usually for 9 months include but for a full list and further detail please see our handbook or get in touch:

  • Critical Care
  • Education and Training
  • Medication Safety/Governance
  • Medicines Value
  • Oncology
  • Paediatrics
