
Are you looking for an exciting and challenging role in nephrology and renal transplantation which will improve the pharmaceutical care provided to renal patients in both in-patient and out-patient settings? Due to the current postholder undertaking a secondment we have an opportunity for a suitable pharmacist to join our team for 1 year from August 26.
Based at St James's University Hospital you will work closely with the multidisciplinary team. Our specialist renal pharmacists and renal pharmacy technicians are integral to the safe and effective use of medicines. The successful post holder with contribute to significant developments and innovative strategies to improve the pharmacy services experienced by our patients and other service users. Supported by our team of renal pharmacists and technicians, you will have the chance to develop your ambitions in the field of renal medicine and transplantation as we support you to develop as an expert pharmacist. There are numerous opportunities for development including contributing to outpatient clinic development, clinical guideline review, quality improvement streams and progression of renal knowledge to name a few.
