Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a specialist paediatric audiologist to join the audiology team at St George’s Hospital for one year. The post holder will be expected to deliver paediatric assessment and (re)habilitation services. A suitable level of experience or training in paediatric audiology is expected but support for further development in this area will also be provided. Although this post is predominantly a paediatric position, the subspecialties in the department work in close proximity which allows the opportunity to work across adult and paediatrics in order to maintain clinical skills.
Main duties of the job
You will be expected to deliver services at St George’s Hospital and nearby satellite clinics. You will also be expected to participate in research, service reviews and departmental audits in addition to contributing to the development of the audiology service.
