We have an opportunity for a motivated, forward thinking and dynamic physiotherapist wanting to gain further experience and knowledge in this field at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

This  fixed term post will offer the post holder the opportunity to work as part of an evolving Pelvic Health team. Our team receives referrals from an established MDT of consultants and GPs regarding urology, urogynaecology, obstetrics & colorectal teams,  which results in patients of all genders being treated by our team.

Pelvic health experience is essential for this fixed term post. Additional training and clinical supervision/support will be provided.

The post holder may be based within a therapy team in outpatient settings at both Bradford Royal Infirmary and St Luke’s Hospital.

Main duties of the job

Candidates must have a Physiotherapy Degree and have HCPC registration.

Candidates must have  have  post graduate experience in MSK & Pelvic Health, and recent experience working in the NHS.  Successful candidates will be given appropriate training and clinical support within the term of this job.

A British driving license is desirable, as is access to a car (reasonable adjustments will be considered)

The successful applicant will be responsible for the delivery of specialised Physiotherapy to support patients with a variety of pelvic floor conditions. The case load will be a mixture of obstetric musculoskeletal, urogynaecology & colorectal work of all genders. Successful applicants will also be involved in MDT case discussions.

All staff have access to regular clinical reasoning and supervision sessions and ongoing support from senior clinicians and the wider MDT. All staff take part in the Appraisal system and have access to regular IST specific to the speciality. There will be the opportunity to take part in  a competency framework to acquire skills/knowledge to achieve the full role specification.

The role will also involve participation in service development, audit and clinical governance.
