Who We’re Looking For

We welcome applications from professionals with British Society of Echocardiography (BSE) Level 2 Transthoracic Accreditation (both the theoretical and practical assessments) who are motivated, skilled, and keen to develop. You should hold one of the following qualifications:

BSc in Clinical Physiology MSc Clinical Science Certificate of Completion for the ETP (CCETP)/PG Cert in Clinical Echocardiography BTEC/HNC in Medical Physics and Physiological Measurements

Registration or eligibility for registration with RCCP, AHCS, or HCPC is required, depending on your training pathway.

Main duties of the job

About the Role

As part of our Echocardiography service, you will:

Perform routine and complex transthoracic echocardiography and cardiac ultrasound investigations. Independently interpret findings and produce accurate, high‑quality clinical reports aligned with local and national guidelines. Communicate results clearly to clinicians, including those without specialist echocardiography experience. Contribute to maintaining high clinical standards and continuous service improvement.
