Job summary

An exciting opportunity has emerged for a driven, forwardthinking practitioner to join and help shape our outstanding Vascular, Head & Neck Theatre Team at Leeds General Infirmary. Were looking for someone who brings energy, leadership and a passion for exceptional patient care to a service that is continually evolving. Our team is proud to deliver a Monday to Friday service for patients undergoing: arterial vascular surgery, sometimes combined with Interventional Radiology acute vascular surgery ENT and Maxillofacial procedures ranging from minor to major plus, capturing the needs of the local Leeds population and as a specialist tertiary centre for Head and Neck cancer treatment Interventional radiology surgery Elective MRIs

Main duties of the job

The ENT service has the potential for expansion of an additional theatre from 2 days per week to 5 in the near future. Were seeking an individual, desirably with experience in Vascular and/or Head & Neck surgery, who is ready to lead by example, support colleagues at all levels, and champion highquality, patientcentred care. You will be someone who thrives in a multidisciplinary environment, communicates with confidence, and embraces innovation and change with a positive mindset. This role also plays a key part in developing others. You will be involved in teaching, assessing and mentoring team members, so a recognised teaching/assessing qualification or a commitment to completing one within your first year is essential. We welcome applications from Registered Nurses and Operating Department Practitioners with at least 18 months postregistration Band 5 experience, current UK NMC registration, and evidence of recent UK clinical practice.
