Would you like to work in a friendly department in a busy acute trust, working across our UHDB sites:

If so, then please apply to become part of our Multidisciplinary Ultrasound Team within the University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust (UHDB).

Part time and full time applications are invited from Sonographers who are caring, enthusiastic and self-motivated. We would welcome candidates with a wide range of ultrasound competencies; however we would also consider applications from Sonographers with experience in only one clinical area as well as trainee Sonographers with a pending PG Certificate/Diploma in Medical Ultrasound.

We are looking for Sonographers who would be interested in bringing their ambition, commitment, knowledge, experience and skills to the Trust.

Main duties of the job

Applicants with a pending CASE accredited PG Cert/Diploma in Medical Ultrasound are also welcome to apply for this post.

You will have evidence of on-going CPD and learning related to your areas of ultrasound practice.

We have a wide range of ultrasound equipment within the Trust. CRIS and PACS are used throughout the Trust. ViewPoint Maternity and BadgerNet are used within maternity obstetric scan.

Our vacant positions are based at Queens Hospital Burton site and Royal Derby Hospital site, as well as, the UHDB community sites and CDCs.
