Job overview

The Health Board is seeking a motivated, enthusiastic individual to undertake the role of Soft FM Officer. The post holder will be responsible for supporting the planning and delivery of high quality, cost effective Soft FM Operational Services throughout the locality, to include portering services, patient movement, cleaning at ward and department levels, housekeeping, ward based nutrition and hydration services, security of internal and external areas, administration and residential accommodation.

Main duties of the job

In conjunction with the Assistant Operations Manager, this position will support the staff recruitment process by the inputting and administration of vacant posts onto the Trac recruitment system, planning and co-ordination of shortlisting and interview arrangements for departmental vacancies as necessary, liaising with the Assistant Operations Manager in relation to these as required.

The successful candidate will also assist in controlling the quality control system, monitoring scores and submitting reports relating to quality performance and have the ability to update and make changes to the system to reflect changes to the hospital site.

The successful candidate will participate in attendance management, including conducting return to work interviews with staff and long term and informal/formal sickness meetings under the All Wales Managing Attendance at Work Policy and will work with the Assistant Operations Manager and Workforce advisors to identify prompts under the managing attendance policy.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
