An exciting opportunity has arisen to manage a well established Social Work team covering the Badenoch and Strathspey District. The individual should hold a relevant qualification in professional Social Work such as CQSW, DipSW, CSS or Degree in Social Work, and hold a registration with the Scottish Social Services Council with a minimum of two years post qualifying experience in Adult Social Care. Evidence of people management is essential. The post demands strong leadership and proven organisational skills.
The post will predominantly involve working within the B&S Community Hospital and surrounding district, however there is an expectation the postholder will be able to attend meetings in other areas as required. The post is operationally managed by the B&S District Manager and professionally managed by the Professional Lead for Social Work services.
A full current driving licence and use of car for work purposes are necessary for this post.
