Main duties of the job

Lead the design and construction phases, managing relationships with technical teams and external partners. Oversee contractual relationships with tier one building contractors and enabling works providers. Develop business cases, control budgets, and ensure compliance with NHP Hospital 2.0  standards and the Building Safety Act. Drive value engineering, manage claims and disputes, and minimize disruption to clinical services. Champion health and safety, training, and professional development for all staff involved.

As Site Project Director, you will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of a flagship hospital scheme, working closely with the Strategic Programme Director. You’ll manage multidisciplinary teams, external advisors, and contractors, ensuring the project meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and value for the NHS.
