Job overview

An exciting Band 6 nursing opportunity has arisen in Wythenshawe Orthopedic Fracture Clinic. Energy, enthusiasm and drive is required to work in this service.  The department treats patients with a range of orthopedic conditions and complex wounds. The successful candidate will work closely with the MDT and trauma nurse specialist to ensure patients have a positive experience and receive a high standard of care.

Main duties of the job

To succeed, you’ll need to be committed in delivering high quality, patient focused care with pride and respect. You must have  excellent interpersonal skills and be able to provide evidence of personal and professional development.

Applicants must possess a proven clinical and managerial career history at Band 5 or 6 in orthopaedics and demonstrate a commitment to effective leadership.  An experience in an outpatient environment is essential, as is a commitment to outpatient service development.

The role will be based in the Wythenshawe but the ability to work cross-site within the WTWA footprint will be required. Clinics run five days a week. Working  hours will vary between 08:00 - 18:00  Monday to Friday with the requirement to be flexible to cover weekend clinics if the service requires.
