The department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology are looking to recruit a Clinical tutor for a period of 12 months. This post will commence on 5th August 2026 until 4th August 2027 only. Any delays to the start date the length of contract will be adjusted accordingly. This is a 1 year post to facilitate clinical teaching in Obstetrics & Gynaecology to Swansea University graduate entry medical school students

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will be expected to attend and teach in outpatient clinics, on ward rounds, labour ward and theatre sessions. In these clinical sessions the teaching registrar will undertake supervised teaching sessions for year 3 graduate entry medical students from Swansea University. The specified teaching clinics have reduced numbers of patients to facilitate additional time for teaching.

This is a full-time post 40 hours per week with no on call requirement.
