TRAUMA AND ORTHOPAEDICS SHIFT LEAD, BAND 6 WARD B2 TRAUMA

The successful Band 6 post-holder will be a First Level Registered Nurse with experience of regularly managing a team of staff within the acute surgery setting.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate relevant experience, qualifications and competencies.

Main duties of the job

The post holder is responsible for the management of the Nursing Unit/Department during the shift, including the organisation of the Nursing Unit/Department activities and the management of staff and resources. The post holder will support the Lead Nurse and Matron in developing and monitoring services and the quality of care experienced by patients.
