Job overview

We are looking for a Senior Unified Communications Manager based in the Prince Charles Hospital and surrounding area to join our Digital team at CTMUHB.   You will be responsible for leading on the voice and data networking services at the Prince Charles Hospital and surrounding sites, supporting a multi-million pound redevelopment of the hospital.   You will lead the installation, configuration, testing, and optimisation of the voice and data network, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.   This post is  a fixed term/secondment until 31 October 2026,  If you are interested in applying for it as a secondment, please obtain permission from your current line manager prior to applying.

Main duties of the job

Act as the lead specialist, and be accountable for delivery of the Voice and Data services at the Prince Charles Hospital and surrounding sites.

Be responsible for maintaining the delivery of high-quality IT Voice and Data Communications Services at the Prince Charles Hospital and surrounding sites, ensuring that the services are fully operational at all times and configured to provide optimum service.

Plan specialist Voice & Data projects that impact clinical and non-clinical areas at the Prince Charles Hospital and surrounding sites.     Provide strategic direction and operational support in the management and maintenance of all CTMUHB Voice and Data Systems at the Prince Charles Hospital and surrounding sites.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
