The Maternity and Gynaecology department at NUH is looking to appoint registrars at ST3-7 level in order to ensure robust middle grade cover on both our campuses 24/7. We are offering 12 month fixed term contracts with the potential for this to be extended by mutual agreement.

Main duties of the job
The Maternity and Gynaecology department includes all hospital and community based obstetrics, gynaecology and midwifery services. 44 consultants contribute to our obstetrics and gynaecology service, of which 18 are gynaecologists, 18 are obstetric consultants and 8 combined obstetrician and gynaecologists.
Gynaecology is provided across three sites, at City Hospital, Queen’s Medical Centre and the Nottingham Treatment Centre based at the QMC Campus. Our gynaecology service includes an accredited Urogynaecology unit, reproductive medicine, benign and emergency gynaecology, and Gynae-oncology. The service is in the process of an exciting transformation project, with several aspects of the service relocating from the City to QMC campus and Nottingham treatment centre. As part of the development of Primary Integrated Care Services gynaecology clinics are also held in primary care settings in the community supported NUH gynaecologists.
