Job overview

We are excited to welcome a passionate and driven Band 6 Nurse to join our dynamic Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) team at St Mary’s Hospital, part of the West London Children’s Healthcare collaboration.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed nursing professional who thrives in high-acuity settings and wants to make a real difference in the lives of critically ill children and their families.

As a Band 6 Nurse in our specialist PICU, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based care to infants, children, and young people with complex and life-threatening conditions.

You’ll play a key role in the delivery of safe, compassionate care while also acting as a clinical leader, supporting junior staff, coordinating care pathways, and contributing to the smooth, effective running of the unit. We are proud to invest in your professional growth, offering access to advanced training, leadership development programmes, and opportunities to take part in service improvement projects. Whether you’re aiming to deepen your PICU expertise or step confidently into a leadership role, we will support you every step of the way.

If you’re ready to take the next step in your paediatric nursing journey within a forward-thinking, patient-focused team, we’d love to hear from you.'
