Detailed job description and main responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL DO -Participate in post-take ward rounds with consultants.  -Make autonomous prescribing decisions, tailored to each individual patient.   -Support patient flow by organising discharge medications in a timely manner.  -Lead and manage projects to support service development.   -Support education and training of rotational pharmacists through Medicine

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR An independent prescribing pharmacist (or working towards their independent prescribing qualification) with significant experience of clinical pharmacy.  Experience of change management and service improvement.  Ability to communicate well, inspire confidence and work well both independently and as part of a team.
