Radiology has an established Interventional and fluoroscopic service. We have an excellent interventional team comprised of radiographers, nurses, administration, registrars and Consultants. You will play a key role in this multidisciplinary team and will also attend relevant operational meetings.

The post involves undertaking CT, specialist interventional, cardiac and fluoroscopic examinations. In IR, we perform numerous procedures but not limited to PTCs, ureteric stents, fibroid embolisations, RIGs, portacath procedures as well as percutaneous chemo-embolisations  (TACE & SIRTs).  The Cardiac Cath Lab runs a Monday-Friday diagnostic service and liaises closely with other local hospitals for those needing interventional procedures.
