We are delighted to be recruiting an Senior Project Manager – Digital Change and Optimisation to our EPR Optimisation Team here at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

The EPR Senior Project Manager will be an integral part of the development and delivery of the Trust’s vision to be a truly digital healthcare organisation, supported by a solid foundation of infrastructure and innovative use of technology to enable excellence.

Main duties of the job

The Senior Project Manager will work within the EPR Optimisation team.

The main elements of the role include:

  • Project managing a number of interlinked projects within the portfolio.
  • Researching, supporting, facilitating, monitoring and reporting on project progress, escalating issues when required.
  • Supporting performance improvement.
  • Matrix management of staff assigned to the projects as required.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

The role reports to the Head of Clinical Information Systems and will take ownership of a range of projects, in accordance with best practice project management principles.

The EPR Senior Project Manager will manage the project from initiation to closure; including design, planning, execution, control, transition and transfer. The project will be managed in-line with standard DDaT processes and reporting standards; encompassing all aspects of DDaT services, process redesign, and interfaces with other parties.

The post holder will also work with a wide range of stakeholders to ensure the smooth transition of projects into BAU (Business As Usual).

The EPR Senior Project Manager will be responsible for the matrix management of the project team and other resource as required, working towards the continual development of an ITIL-framed project management environment and Informatics Department.
