The role:
Within the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital (QEUH), the AHP teams work together, supporting each other to ensure we provide high-quality care for our patients.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Senior Physiotherapist to join the Vascular team on a full time permanent basis.
It is essential that you are educated to Diploma/Degree level in physiotherapy while being registered with HCPC. You should have significant post graduate experience with previous clinical experience in Vascular and Amputee Rehabilitation. This post involves a complex and varied caseload incorporating patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment and discharge planning. You will be clinically responsible for rotational staff, support worker staff and students, inducting, training and managing staff on a daily basis. You will participate in service development and service change within the team. You will be actively encouraged to develop through your 4 pillars of practice while participating in CPD, audit and research.
Please note all roles will be assessed for sponsorship eligibility in line with current Home Office requirements. NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) can only issue a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) where these are met.

• BSc/Diploma in Physiotherapy• Registration with HCPC• Significant post-graduate experience, including previous experience within the relevant clinical area• Computer literate with experience of using e-mail, Microsoft Office and relevant clinical systems• Evidence of involvement in clinical effectiveness activities, including audit, systematic reviews and/or research proposals• Experience of supervising, developing and supporting staff• Excellent communication skills• Commitment to the speciality• Ability to work effectively under pressure
