Job summary

We have an opportunity for a Senior Pharmacy Technician manager to lead our Outpatient Pharmacy team based at the CHoICE outpatient pharmacy at South Tyneside Hospital. This post would be ideal for a candidate looking to take the next step in their career. Main duties of the job

We are looking for a motivated individual who is team-orientated and shares our passion for improving patient care. You will need to be a Pharmacy Technician with a relevant pharmaceutical qualification and registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). You will also need to be enthusiastic, self-motivated and well organised. As Senior Pharmacy Technician you will manage a team of dispensers and work alongside our dispensary pharmacist Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians and Pharmacy Dispensing Assistants to provide integrated pharmaceutical care for service users in the Trust to ensure safe, appropriate and cost-effective use of medicines. As part of the Pharmacy team within the Trust, you will be required to contribute to the 7-day rota which includes weekends and late night duty.
