BTHFT are looking to recruit a Senior Multi-Skilled Technician  - PREVIOUS APPLICANTS NEED NOT APPLY.

You will need to work closely with the Team Leaders to plan and carry out engineering/building maintenance programmes and to help achieve compliance with legislative and performance standards. You will be required to undertake work as identified on allocated work orders, such as carrying out inspections, tests, repairs and installations on Trust property, plant and infrastructure. You will also need to update the Trust CAFM system in an informative and timely manner.

Heavily involved in the day-to-reactive maintenance service, you will need to ensure that we are providing an efficient and patient focused service to the Trust. You will need to possess strong team working traits, be flexible, calm under pressure and have excellent communication skills to effectively carry out demanding maintenance duties and investigative processes.

As part of the role you will be required to cover the shift technicians role should unplanned staff shortages occur during times of operational service pressure.

Main duties of the job

The postholder will be expected to carry out both routine and complex maintenance requests in an efficient and effective manner to support successful delivery of a customer focussed estate maintenance service for the Trust and support the Team Leaders in the management and supervision of in house and contract labour to ensure effective maintenance and operation of all buildings, plant and associated services.
