The post is accountable to the IPAC Deputy Lead Practitioner for the day-to-day IP&C management across NCHC and to an on-going improvement in the quality of the patient’s experience.
The post holder has a responsibility to monitor and act upon standards of Infection Prevention & Control that fall below the acceptable standard and legislative responsibilities.
This position is involved in ensuring Trust complies with its legislative and licensing requirements, i.e. The Health and Social Care Act 2008, and for the provision of specialist advice and guidance for all health care professionals and support staff across the Trust.
