2 x 34.5 hour posts
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Elective Orthopaedic Unit for Healthcare Support Workers (HCSW). The ward caters for patients having various Orthopaedic procedures including planned Hip/Knee replacements, spinal, shoulder, hand and foot and ankle surgeries and minor trauma patients.
We are looking for enthusiastic, self-motivated individuals to join our small friendly team.
The job will involve working closely with the multidisciplinary team. You will need to be able to work as part of a team but also have the ability to work on your own. Good communication, organisational and motivational skills are required.
We strive to provide a high quality of care and promote patient independence/active participation in their recovery.
Shift patterns include both day and night shifts and covers 7days a week.
Experience of working in a caring environment is desirable. Training opportunities will be provided.
