This is a 1 year fixed term contract to help expand our service and testing within the community diagnostic centre at Roehampton. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Healthcare Scientist to join our multidisciplinary team.

The clinical scientist/physiologist will play a key role in our healthcare services, conducting diagnostic tests, clinical research, and providing support for medical investigations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in scientific research, analytical skills, and a passion for improving patient care.

Main duties of the job

• To work in paediatric services for lung function and sleep investigations.
• Undertakes a wide range of both simple and highly complex procedures in Sleep and lung function testing, Set-up, download and analyse inpatient and domiciliary respiratory sleep studies.
• Reporting from simple to complex assessments in Sleep and lung function testing To maintain, calibrate and disinfect the equipment according to Trust and departmental policy.
