We are at the beginning of an exciting journey to transform our People & OD function to deliver a proactive and effective customer-focused service to meet the challenges of the future. As the Senior Employee Relations Advisor, you will work alongside a team of likeminded colleagues to collectively play a pivotal role in providing high quality educational and operational employee relations activities in line with a ‘Just & Restorative Learning’ culture, underpinned by our values and behaviours framework.
You will comprehensively manage a complex case-load across a broad range of employee relations matters, which aligns with legislation, best practice, case law, and local policies. Operating as the subject matter expert for employee relations, you will provide a high-quality advisory and support service to facilitate early resolution of workplace matters - understanding organisational challenges and risk and providing solutions to mitigate against this.
Leading with compassion and striving for excellence, you will work in close partnership with our stakeholders to positively influence and shape the future direction of employee relations activities through the successful execution of your role.
We have a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. The Trust is fully supportive of flexible working and we are happy to discuss how you might want to work the hours within the role.
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Employee Relations Advisor with the drive and commitment for shaping the ER agenda. You should be person-centred, solution-orientated with sound judgement and the ability to professionally challenge. Effective and timely communication is critical to the success of this role and, as such, you should possess high quality interpersonal skills.
