Are you passionate about diabetes care? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are looking for an enthusiastic Diabetes Specialist Nurse to join our Community Diabetes Specialist Team based in Wokingham working across Berkshire West.

Main duties of the job

Key Responsibilities: As a Diabetes Specialist Nurse, you will provide expert care across various clinical areas, including:

  • Managing complex caseload
  • Emerging therapies
  • Prescribing relevant therapy
  • Flash Glucose Monitoring and Continuous Glucose Monitoring Systems (CGMS)
  • Line management and clinical supervision of Band 6 DSNs
  • Upskilling primary care HCPs
