Are you passionate about supporting children and families through challenging health journeys? Join our dedicated Haematology and Oncology Outpatients and Day Care (HOPD) team, providing outpatient and day care services for children aged 0–18 with haematology and oncology conditions. You will assist qualified nurses in delivering family-centred, high-quality care within a supportive and expert-led environment.

  • Experience in health or social care, ideally with children or young people
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and teamwork skills
  • Compassionate and motivated to make a positive difference

Main duties of the job

Reporting into the Ward Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Support qualified nurses in the delivery of clinical care to children and families
  • Work independently or alongside staff to perform delegated clinical tasks within defined limits
  • Help with administrative and IT tasks including stock and equipment management
  • Help maintain a safe, effective care environment for patients and families

Please note that Sheffield Children's uplift pay to meet the Real Living Wage, which is £12.60 per hour.
